In Italy is a jazz album by the legendary pianist and composer Thelonious Monk. Released in 1963, the album captures Monk's tour of Italy with his quartet, featuring Charlie Rouse on tenor saxophone, John Ore on bass, and Frankie Dunlop on drums.

The album features a mix of Monk's classic compositions, such as "Blue Monk" and "Well, You Needn't," as well as some lesser-known tunes. The quartet's performances are tight and energetic, with Rouse's saxophone providing a perfect foil for Monk's idiosyncratic piano playing.

One standout track is "Pannonica," a beautiful ballad dedicated to the Baroness Pannonica de Koenigswarter, a patron of jazz musicians who befriended Monk and helped him during hard times. The quartet's rendition of the tune is tender and heartfelt, with Rouse's saxophone and Ore's bass providing a subtle but effective accompaniment to Monk's delicate piano playing.
