I had a crush on Tony Conigliaro when I was a young teen, about 13 years old! Dad would be watching the Red Sox games, and sometimes I was there. Then seeing Tony up there,( cause I've seen photos of him from baseball cards I'd collect), I liked what I seen. He was a young guy of only 25 yrs. old, and so nice looking. I think i read once he dated Raquel Welch. Those were the days! I also liked Rico Petrocelli, back in the days! Good old days!

I was a young rabid Red Sox fan in the 60’s. This takes me back when all was well with the world. Tony C, alive and young, with the world ahead of him. Like all young Bosox girl fans, I was in love with the tall, dark right fielder.
Rest in peace, Tony. We still love you.

He did. Thank you for posting. He was a local sportscaster here in San Francisco in the 70s. Such a great talent and a tragic story.
